Dr Ghinton returns to his journals repeatedly over the next several weeks.
This curiosity of How Hyde and He could be relatives is a distraction.
He scours his journals and his personal history trying to find the connection.
Finally, another margin note is discovered, but again only recognizable due to it being the Doctors own handwriting. He’s been on this quest before it appears.
“Fathers are different, but mother is the same” is scribbled in a margin beside the history of Ghinton’s birth. This intrigues the doctor even more.
He decides it time to make the hunt official. He walks down to the Time Management Center of The Consortium and has a short but brief chat with the director of resources. The official act of seeking confirmation of a time line is a delicate matter and requires the Doctor to make the order official. So he does exactly that. Finding facts of a time change is often a dire indication of something which needs to be kept hidden. Dr. Ghinton feels he is willing to take the risk, and orders the time scan.
The Clerk return to Dr Ghinton’s study several hours later with a report. Which is as follows:
After Hyde’s birth and his reaching young adult hood. It seems as if his mother was tired of living in the shadow of the Ebony Manor and discovered a means to time jump into another time line. Which allowed her to escape her commitment to the manor. She jumped back into a period prior to Hyde’s birth and relationship with Ares Hyde. Her focus was to completely break the cycle of commitment to the Manor by divergence and creating a new life for both herself and her child. Realizing by fate, Hugo would always be bound to the manor regardless of her determination to free him and herself.
In the new time line, she met a gentleman and a child was born. The new timeline and child was in fact Derwood Ghinton. He was born only a few month prior to the secondary time line’s beginning and the birth of Hugo. Derwood would never know of his father and his connection to the larger story. He was an unknown. Doctor Ghinton was intended to remain unaware of time and dimensional travel. But as fate would have it, natural order and chaos brought the awareness to him.
Being a novice in the arena of Time Travel, Derwood’s mother had no idea she had doubled herself in a secondary time line. She never venture toward the avenue of the Manor for fear she would be pulled back into her past reality. She kept both timelines distinctly separate and free of one another. She was determined to remain free of the Manor and the history she had left behind. Unaware that Hugo remained bound to the manor. His commitment and presence held in place by the very energy which resonated in and around the manor.
Dr. Ghinton found himself fascinated with Metaphysical phenomena and the concept of multidimensional elements. His education was more of a hands on education, due to his circumstances. Spiritualism and philosophy held his attention allowing him to discover and draw his own conclusions as to how the reality of things worked. Crystals and magical practice soon filled his studies and by accident he created a Time Jump Portal. From that point forward his journeys allowed him to obtain a vast amount of knowledge and also increased the number of questions he was in a quiet to answer and fulfill.
Derwood Ghinton grew to an adult and ventured off to seek out his adventures. To his disappointment, at one point, mother vanished without a trace. So,, she too has been added to his quest, to discover her location and seek some additional answers as to why the secrecy.
Even the vast archives of the Consortium had no further occurrence of her in any other time or dimensional field.
End of file.
Dr. Ghinton was stunned to find the news of the two separate but adjoined time lines. Huge was indeed his brother and they shared the common thread.
Again, this made Dr. Ghinton question why this information had been deliberately hidden away. What role in the time line do both Hugo and Derwood have to play in the larger timeline?
