Mrs Shell is the caretaker or the Blue Maiden. An astral boarding house found between the spectral and the material worlds. The Blue Maiden is a contract fashioned to be a safe haven for travelers who are in need of her sanctuary. Most who have found themselves guests of the Maiden are never aware that it has taken them in for a most safe reservation and offers them time for recuperation on many levels.
Mrs Shell is her caretaker and is also a contract created by the Blue Maiden to assist in helping the traveler feel more at ease and welcome.
The best way to explain the Maiden is through Mrs Shell’s own description.
Mrs Shell, smiles and explains; “The Blue Maiden is a Temporal Construct, a safe zone one might say, between the material universe and a dimension just slightly out of sync with the rest of time and space. I am sure you understand this element as it reflects your own location of origin, the Consortium and Mr Hyde’s home The Ebony Manor.” “Time, here in the Maiden works in the same manner as the outer world, however, we have options which can be of benefit. For if you pass only through the front door of the Blue Maiden, you return to your previous location, but if one should need to move to another more safe location, the back door can be utilized and the location can be set to whatever best suits the traveler.” “Also, let it be known, that time can be adjusted here in the Blue Maiden, for healing and recuperation, we only need to adjust the settings and time quickens or slows as needed. “ “The Blue Maiden is unique, existing outside of the control of other manors or time shielded locations. - SHE, The Blue Manor, can appear or disappear and relocate, depending on the need of the traveler or travelers.” “However, also now that those who carry ill intention can not enter the property of the Maiden.” “She will not permit ill will, and will abandon a traveler if their intention become less than acceptable while within her safety.” “My task is to assist and maintain order with in the Maiden.” “Any breach of security will be met with clear and precise explanation and removal.” “I have no tolerance for shenanigans which can lead to harm of my guests or the Blue Maiden.”
Please be aware on your next journey, if a wonderful Blue and White Victorian Mansion appears in an odd setting, be not alarmed but know you have been welcomed by the Blue Maiden.
Olde World. Tis been seven years. Seven long God damned years, since Death came a callin'. Tis not spoken as a blaspheme, more as a reality. For tis been that long since that lively, cheerful town of San Gabriel fell to the scourge of the undead, sorcery, and the dark heart of evil. It crept in slow, such as would a bone chillin' fog. Townsfolk done gone missin' over the course of months. Yet unbeknownst to the Gabrielians, they would soon turn up, but not as one was expectin'. Six months, six days, and six hours to the day the first resident vanished. Twas then, the onslaught began. Decimatin' the population either by bein' consumed, turned or by other means that this page be forever stained by it's mention. All of them. Friend and family alike. Cut down like chaffs of wheat durin' Harvest Reap. Even within the doors of The House of God. For a spell of bewitchment was cast upon the town itself so that the Vampire Witch, her disciples and ghouls could act with impunity. Many were familiar faces, yet no longer the people they had been. A small militia was formed to counter the brutal assault. The town armory was emptied. All manor of electro guns, hand cannons and slug throwers were deployed, only made truly effective after a blessin' by the waters at the church. By then however, twas too late. The evil spread as a plague, soon overcomin' the desperate defense. Holding to a last stand while structures burned, and Holy Ground defiled. Abandoned of all hope, a lone survivor gathered what supply could be carried and fled unto the deserts. The church Deacon who's name was Ichabod Tull.
